Pertandingan Senamrobik Program Matrikulasi

 哈咯 学弟学妹们好！因为疫情的关系，本届学生的活动比较少，像之前senior们说的colour run，citra budaya，blok dinner等等的都没有出现在我们这一年哦。唯一一个比较大型的活动就是Pertandingan Senamrobik啦！接下来会跟你们分享我们的参赛过程哦！

Sem 1 的时候，我的课外活动老师刚好是这个Pertandingan Senamrobik的负责老师，所以我们班就成了这个比赛的工委。当时的心情是很兴奋，开心的，终于迎来matriks life的第一个活动。在我知道工委也有参赛资格后，基于颇高的课外活动分数和想为matriks life增添色彩，就想报名。刚开始还有点担心，怕找不到组员。因为一组需12个人，而且得有男有女，多元种族。意想不到的是，还蛮顺利的组了一队。接下来我们就开始练舞啦！我们一起学舞步，一起排舞蹈队形。虽然每次课后的练习有点累，但是过程是很开心有趣的。在这里给大家一个小小的建议，就是每次练习完可以来个合照或拍一个小小的练习vlog，以后能成为一个美好的回忆。刚好那个时候靠近中秋节，我还记得有一次练习完，我们一起吃月饼！正式比赛那天，我们穿着我们一起买的队服上战场。整个参赛过程很开心，也是让我们熟悉彼此的一个重要环节。

哦还有！如果在比赛中拿到很好的成绩，还可以代表Kolej去参加Peringkat Kebangsaan的比赛。又是因为疫情，我们不能到其他kolej参加实体比赛，只是把录好的舞蹈视频呈上而已。

SIMPOSIUM PAL

SIMPOSIUM PEER-ASSISTED LEARNING (PAL) 

这是个BMKPM (Bahagian Matrikulasi)所举办的比赛，属于 Kebangsaan 级别, 来自各州的matric 学院都会派出学生参赛。KMKt 共派出8组学生（两人一组）参赛, 由 Sir Noraman (Bio unit)领队. 科目为Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics , Science comp, Perakaunan, Perniagaaan, Ekonomi.  机会难得,表格开放后就赶紧报名吧.

活动宗旨？

BMKPM 举办这活动的宗旨是为了让每间matric 的 pal leader 分享各自在学院里是如何以有趣的方式实行pal leader sessions. Pal leader 们能从中互相学习有效的督导方式，回到学院后与没办法参与其中的pal leader进行分享。

比赛地点？

比赛于31/1- 2/2/2020 在Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor (KMS) 举办. 为期3天2夜. 这也是有史以来BMKPM 举办的第一届 Simposium 比赛.

膳食, 住宿, 交通？

别担心，早午晚餐都会由举办方准备.  住宿就是学院里的宿舍（别期望太高能睡就好). 交通由我们学院的巴士载送. 基本上一分钱都不用出.

需要自备的日常与私人用品

Simposium 格式？presentation 准备？

Presentation 以座谈会的方式进行. 就是要在参赛者与评审面前讲解你准备的slide or video. 详细资料可去Google 查询simposium 的格式. 参赛者将根据科目被安排到各自的dewan kuliah. 需要提前准备power point presentation slide （根据各种科目）. slide内容必须关于Kaedah pelaksanaan Pal di kolej masing-masing. 建议选些有难度的subtopics, then 你是如何guide 你的buddies 明白理解它 cth:用创意的mind map, 独门诀窍等等.

一组presentation 的时间为7 分钟. 问答环节为3 分钟.

KMKt  Symposium Team

Matrix Challenge

MATRIX CHALLENGE 简介

     这个项目其实是KMKt 每两年举办一次的脚车比赛，主要是公开给外界的民众参与，而KMKt的学生就负责协助整个比赛的进行。如果很幸运的那一年KMKt有举办这个活动的话，你不妨考虑一下，因为其实是有kebangsaan的分数。这个应该在Sem 1与Sem 2之间的Sem break就会有相关Google form发在每一个whatsapp group让你们可以去报名，如果真的想参加，就要快快去填Google form因为位子有限。Matrix challenge 通常在11月尾或12月头进行，需要大约100个学生(被分成大概8个小组) 去协助比赛的进行。这个比赛大概会进行两天给两种event，XCO 和 Jamboree(通常星期六for XCO,星期日for Jamboree)。XCO是根据不同组别在不同的时间来进行的，例如 fat bike category, kelantan men category 及 women open category。Jamboree 则是不同的组别，参赛者在同一个时间同一个赛道进行。XCO时间较短，赛道也短，只需20分钟for每个category。Jamboree时间长，赛道也很长，需要4个小时吧。

  请有involve的学生注意，matrix challenge开始前的两个星期都会有meeting，然后请准时到，否则你可能会被Sir Azrul罚pumping100下。 通常男生会被分配到比赛的赛道的 station 去 duty，而女生就负责比较简单的工作，例如负责记录时间和食物分配等等。那个比赛赛道是在KMKt附近的山道，蛮靠近那个wk的hiking的地方。这个比赛的参赛者除了本地人，也包括外国人(泰国人)。当你们要去找老师签名for koko卡的时候，可以去找 Sir Aswadi (Chemistry Unit)，不过他经常不在，可以贴sticky note在卡上，放在他桌子，隔几个小时或隔天再来拿就好了。

Mingguan Pengurusan Pelajar Baharu

Minggu Pengurusan Pelajar Baru (MPPB)

Minggu Pengurusan Pelajar Baru (MPPB) aka orientation week ， 这是每个预科班的学生都会经历的一个星期“适应期”。这个星期非常考验我们的意志力，因为你可能会 culture shock 和homesick。但是相信我，matrikulasi真的很好玩 。这时是交友的最好时候，有一群朋友与你作伴就没那么难过了。热心的学长学姐也会回到学校当 faci  (facilitator) 帮助我们，有什么问题都可以问他们。

报到前，所有文件都必须准备好，报道当天才不会手忙脚乱。我们已经被安排好各自的宿舍，所以一抵达学校，我们先到各自的宿舍底楼报到，才可以到房间放好自己的东西。学校将会很塞车，所以建议早点出发。学校当天会售卖很多日常用品，所以如果有不齐全的东西都可以在学校里买。

迎新周都必须穿 smart casual ，所以建议准备多一些有领的衣服。校方每天都会安排活动给我们。全体学生会被召集到礼堂听讲座，所以一切不懂的到时就会懂了。比如，生病时要怎么办，穿着，时间表分配，考试等等。我们也被分派到各自的 LDK , 会有教授带我们走整个校园，所以有不懂的也可以问他们。

我们迎新周刚好是斋戒月期间，晚上穆斯林去祷告时，senior就会召集我们，会有 ice breaking环节。我们当时就分配成几组，玩游戏等等。

Science Carnival

KARNIVAL SAINS MATRIKULASI (MASCAR 2019)

2019年的National Level Science Carnival在Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang (KMPP)举行，涉及了小学，中学及来自各州的Matriks学生。

Matriks学生能参与的几项比赛包括Pertandingan Roket Air (Sasaran & Payung Terbang) 和Pertandingan Inovasi Tenaga Biojisim Teknologi Hijau. 谨记Science Carnival的资讯可不是那么广的，换句话说不是每个人都会被通知的，所以有心参与的学弟学妹们请确保你们时时刻刻留意最新资讯，也要积极地去见有关的负责lecturer，不要错过。

我参与了Pertandingan Inovasi Tenaga Biojisim Teknologi Hijau，没记错的话Teknologi Hijau的比赛可是每年都不一样，上一年似乎是叫做Pertandingan Reka Bentuk Kolej Teknologi Hijau。负责的Lecturer是Sir Badrisam，一名Chemistry Lecturer。我们需要在比赛之前准备好一切，所以需要很多的精力和时间。若你们真的有心参与，加油！Science Canival 是National level的活动，所以KOKO分还是蛮高的。绝对值得，加油！

Steam Challenge

Steam Challenge

This competition only started last year (2018). So it is quite new. It is under the international level and if you win you will definitely get 10% for your co-curriculum marks. There is an announcement about this competition and information on the competition will be spread through WhatsApp. Whoever wants to join will need to go through an interview. Sir Idil and Sir Firdaus are the lecturers in charge (Under the Mathematics department). In this competition, we need to do a multipurpose cupboard (portable, light and less cost). I think the theme of this competition will change every year. This competition held a few weeks after our first mid-sem break (5th of September).

We did the interview in the announcement room (or warden room) at block c ground floor. Sir Idil will be interviewing us. He asked about our abilities especially doing slides, poster, or 3D digital drawing.  We also told sir about the related activities we joined previously in secondary school. Then write down our names and phone numbers (WhatsApp group). He asked us to form in groups of four and think of a design in the holidays. After the holidays, sir and the other mathematics lecturers will interview us on our project ideas, and select two groups to represent our college. My group was not selected but I'm lucky enough to be chosen and joined the other team that was selected because I know how to do 3D digital drawing on the computer.

One group will be under Sir Idil and another group will be under Sir Firdaus. My group is under Sir Idil and I am glad because he is very helpful and dedicated. He helped us a lot in our project making process, as well as the ideas. We had meetings almost every night at lobby block c (depends on the lecturer in charge). It is a very busy period for me as there were many clashes of lab tests and assignments, also events. I need to draw out the designs and determine the measurements precisely in 3D on my laptop. We changed our designs quite a number of times and that is quite challenging to me as I need to redraw my whole design many times.  One of the members will be doing the brochures and posters, another one will be doing on the concept and abstract of our project, and one will do the making of the project. We also need to prepare our presentation.

We need to make the parts on our own and we cannot combine the parts permanently because the competition required us to build up the project on the spot during the competition. We use the slot-in concept (sir Idil's idea) where we can just slot in all the parts on the spot without the need of screws and nails. Once a while, sir will bring us out of college to buy the materials from a shop nearby.

The competition will be held in Kolej Matrikulasi Teknikal Pahang. We went there by college bus to Pahang, around 6 hours trip. We will stay in the dorm and food will be provided. We also received some money in our Bank Islam account (I forgot how much).  There will be a briefing session and information will be given. The competition will be held on the second day, where we need to set up our project on the spot at the appointed booths within a given time (1 hour). The setup process will be timed by the volunteers of the event. Our team managed to set up around 5 minutes :).

Then the presentation and interview session (10 minutes). Every group will draw lots and we get the first group to be interviewed, so we finished early. The judges are all professors from universities. We thought that we will present first before they ask the questions, instead, they asked us questions throughout the whole session. After that, we went to see a Science showcase at the college. We went outing too.

Next day, the prize-giving session. We won first in the overall competition and get trophies and certificates. Then the projects of each team will be showcased after the event. We went back after taking our lunch.

Matrix Drone Racing Competition (Program Matrikulasi)

Matrix Drone Racing , Program Matrikulasi 是一项跨matrikulasi的活动，每年全国16间KM都会派代表参加这项由Kolej Matrikulasi Sarawak举办的比赛。比赛的宗旨是为了培育马来西亚学生对无人机的技巧和对无人机在未来扮演的重要性给予肯定及关注。这比赛是Peringkat Kebangsaan。负责老师是Sir haidi bin Hashim (物理讲师)，每年都会在Sarawak进行，地点在 Pusat Latihan JAKIM, Telaga Air, Kuching , Sarawak. 每间学校会选两个参赛者代表学校。一个人的花费大约2k, 全部费用由教育局承担。

选拔和怎样参加？练习及训练？

1月尾，Jabatan Sains 会出选拔的广告，有兴趣的就去和老师报名。由于吉兰丹州的matriks近几年都没有足够基金买一个属于本校的专业无人机，所以都是学生自备无人机去比赛。因此，拥有自己的无人机的人在选拔时会比较有利，这比赛需要两人所以你可以找一个伴陪你去选拔，像我这年只有4组拥有自己的无人机，所以竞争也比较容易，比较容易中选。但听说在近期，学校会筹钱买无人机了，到时候就会像KMS，KMPP，KMM 和其他拥有属于自己学校的无人机的学校，会做tournament，然后选第一名和第二名去比赛，这样的方式选人会比较竞争，但是拥有自己的无人机的人还是会有利益的。第一，可以自己练习，不用靠学校的无人机。第二，老师会比较因为你有自己的无人机可以做备用的无人机，因为比赛无人机很有风险，一不小心就会弄坏，所以拥有自己无人机的人也要做好会把无人机弄坏的心里准备。被选后就和队友找时间练习，老师也会来监督，因为每位负责老师住在学校里所以瞒有空的。找一些空荡的草场练习，然后自己用球门，树木来当成障碍物自己练习。

比赛用的是什么无人机呢？

答：FPV Racing Drone (with or without googles).

价钱：RM800 - 1000  （googles 另外计算）

 参考列子（建议“Eachine” 和 “Hubsan”）

这些是比赛所设定的无人机的装备需求，其实基本就是一个racing 的无人机，然后电池至少能耐上20分钟的飞行时间，或是有多过一个电池。无人机的身体不可超过30cm 也不可少过10cm. 迷你无人机和飞行制动监督型的无人机都不可以用。建议使用拍摄监控，可以连接到荧幕或是VR FPV Googles. 比赛方也建议安装LED 荧光灯在无人机的身上，以便裁判辨认和打分。如果有能力的人可以直接去店DIY 属于自己的无人机，也可以去店问问看。

比赛比赛项目有哪些？场地？怎样比？时间表？

比起去年，今年的比赛有所不同，去年的无人机比赛分成“ Pertandingan Drone Racing” 和 “Pertandingan Kawalan Drone”就是赛无人机和用无人机完成任务的项目。但今年修改成“Liga Enggang” 和 “ Liga Kenyalang”. 两个比赛是同时进行的，“ Liga Kenyalang” 是比速度的，但和以往不一样的是今年因为害怕选手的无人机互相碰撞，所以每个参赛者是轮流单独完成障碍物，最短的时间获胜。“Liga Enggang” 是在你进行“ Liga Kenyalang”时，裁判会以你的控制技巧打分（例：拐弯，起飞，降落，U转和跨障碍物等），高分的人获胜。每一间学校会给三次起飞的机会，每次起飞可以完成三圈，成绩只拿表现最好的一圈。比赛大概是从早上8：30 – 12：30。之后，他们还准备了一项Paperplane Challenge Competition，这比赛大家都不陌生吧，这比赛其实是一个安慰赛，是用来填补剩余的时间，但也有奖杯和文凭。午饭后，3点整有International Open Drone Racing 的比赛，聚集了来自泰国，新加坡和文莱的参赛者来一同炒热气氛，也是观看专业飞行无人机的好机会。晚上七点，参赛者出发到Kuching的城市去吃晚餐，然后前往musical waterfront 观赏水上表演。11：30回去宿舍睡觉。最后一天，他们会带我们去买手信，然后到猫城拍猫象，逛街，最后前往飞机场。

这是比赛的场地，大概是一个比足球场再大一些的场地。赤眼是很难控制，建议用屏幕或是VR FPV Googles 比赛。你是被关在赛场的一个右下角里的帐篷控制，也算是远距离控制。

比赛前一天他们会给2个小时适应场地，所以必须珍惜时间练习，难度在于场地很宽，风速和障碍物。

这就是比赛时，我们所在的帐篷。

裁判会在你旁边监督你的飞行记录，以确保没有人使用自动化飞行程序完成任务。

      校长则会在另一个帐篷帮你加油打气，给你压力。

住宿？交通？

交通全部都是教育局准备好的，来回的马航机票和巴士服务都是教育局准备好的，无需担心。我们今年是在一个瞒偏僻的学院举行，从机场到比赛地点需要大约1小时的车程，所以建议前往目的地前在机场的便利商店买好干粮和水，由于KMSw 的学校太小所以才在校园范围外举行，新的地点算是干净，用品如床单，毛巾，肥皂都已准备好了可是建议自备。一日三餐都是外卖，只有晚餐是比较丰富的。此外，我个人觉得明年的比赛应该会换地方举行，因为师生的恶评连连，比如地方太偏僻，信号差和没干粮的问题。我个人对宿舍的卫生和安全感到满意，唯一觉得不方便的就是食堂没开，便利商店也没开。
